Personally I like Conan better than both these guys, but that's not the question, so vote!

Truthfully, I cannot comprehend why Letterman is even liked. I don't like him at all, he's extremely corny, and unlike Conan, his cornyness sucks majorly. Jay Leno, however, is great. He has a great monologue, great segments, and although I rarely watch the stars, when I do, they are pretty good.

Second I would choose Conan. He's cool. Although he wastes a lot of time and is overall a bit corny, he still has funny skits, although his monologue is a bit short. Third would be Craig (is that right?). Last place goes to...Letterman.

I don't watch American stuff, so I wouldn't have a clue. I occasionally watch Rove, but he sounds a bit try-hard sometimes. :\

You could have put Conan as an option as well. I prefer Leno though

I'm confused. Who are they

i like letterman. he's more mean-spirited and sarcastic. plus, i think his monologues are much funnier than leno's. if you say letterman is corny, you must overlook all of leno's segments such as the wedding announcements, the advertisements and all the other crap they do with random newspapers.

conan's the best though...ever. end of story.

Man, we agree on too many things Boondock.

To me, not only is Jay Leno corny as hell but he is a total perv monster.. he cannot HELP but comment on how every single attractive female looks who comes on his show..he eyes their breasts through entire segments and is just an all around unfunny Chester, I can't stand watching his show for more than 5 minutes. The comments he makes to the female guests makes ME feel uncomfortable, I can imagine how those poor girls feel getting them from a freak-chinned squeaky-voiced old man.

Letterman can be really funny, but that's because he has funny segments where he goes outside of the building to different businesses, brings out people from the street, from the audience.. he seems like an overall fun guy to be with.

And there is nothing better than Conan. Except maybe the Daily Show, but The Masturbating Bear and Triumph are the best inventions for TV ever.

I don't watch either, I rather watch Family Guy. But you aren't too bright. The news papers people like, it gets ratings. By the way, whats the difference about reading dumb newpapers, and putting some dumb object in the water to see if it will float or sink?

Letterman definitely. I find Leno too cheesy and even G rated for some reason. He seems more like a late night talk show for older generations.

A year ago TV guide rated the 25 (50?) best TV shows of all time, Letterman came in 7th, beating Carson (i think 11) and I don't think Leno even ranked.

Haha, you guys have something wrong with your brains.

Letterman's top ten junk is by war the worst thing on late night television. Please tell me you guys don't like that crap?

It can't be half as bad as Leno's "Stupid People" segments.

Oh, yeah, 5 Questions is cool.

Even though people say I look like Leno, I don't really care for Leno. He's toooooooo nice. I've always loved Letterman, I've been watching him ever since I got a TV tuner for my old Game Gear when I was little. I love it what he does to that guy from the Deli. Anyone remember the times he had Richard Simmons on? best shows ever.

My usual routine late at night, I watch the Daily Show, Letterman(sometimes I flip to Tough Crowd), and the Craig Kilborn show sometimes I switch to Conan, but usually I watch Conan the day after at 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM on Comedy Central. Good times.

I think I like Conan the best. Trimuph and the guy who makes him talk are freakin' hillarious.

As far as I am aware of, Letterman is the only person aired on free to air TV here in Australia out of the others you have been mentioning. I watch it whenever I can, even though it's late (some shows re-aired, others from last week in the US).

So yeah, Letterman. I haven't seen the others to make a better opinion sorry.

Oh yeah, they put it on... is it Seven or Nine? At about 2am or something. I can't really check the TV guide. Macallef (sp?) Tonight was pretty good while it was on, but stupid Nine took it off. :'(

I'm not sure if I prefer either of them, I'm also more of a Conan fan.

I used to like Letterman, but once i watched Jay Leno's monologue, i converted. it blew Dave outta the water. I usually stick with Comedy Central for late night though. Daily Show, Tough Crowd, and depending on what day it is, South Park, Insomniac, The Man Show (hoping i get an old one, new ones suck), and of course Chappelle's Show on before those two excellent programs. ooh ooh i forgot Kid Notorious, tied for best new series on Comedy Central with Reno 911!

I think maybe their humor is kind of regional. Like maybe Letterman's humor is more funny to people in certain parts of the U.S. and Leno's in other parts. Just a theory...

It's on Channel Nine. The time depends on what Nine airs before. Most time it starts at 12.00am, but sometimes it can start as late as 1.00-1.30am. Like tonight, it starts at 1.20am. It's been good the past week or two because it starts when 24 finishes :D

Conan rules, he's gigantic and he's got funky hair, plus, I love it when he makes fun of celebrities by putting someone's lips over the picture of the star's face. And every once and a while they have that guy come in a and give the audience free Preperation H. i still remember the rhyme he would say, "If you've gotta itch then reach up there and tame that b*tch!"

Yeah, Preparation H Raymond is the best. I liked when they did the skit 'Late Night Budget Cuts" and gto rid of Raymond and replaced him with 'Walgreens soothing hemmorhoid cream Harry'.
Then Raymond came and said he'd give preparation h away for free.

how could anybody even consider Letterman? He's lame as hell and his audience is made up of retired people and retarded tourists. Leno has a TV14 rating, and a MUCH funnier monologue. Headlines are the best ever, and don't forget The Trip to the $.99 store.

But he is cheesy and tacky as hell. He is the talk show for the older generation, the people who grew up with Carson. Letterman has a much more modern feel and sense of humor.

lol going by such a description it seems like you've never watched the show...

All Letterman is funny for is his looks. That's it.

Here's my list:

1. Consey
2. Letterman
3. Kilby
Tied for 4th because they both pretty much suck ass: Leno and Daily.

Ya, I prefered Daily Show with Kilborn back in the day. The "journalists" weren't quite as strong of a force but Jon Stewart gets annoying (all about the pity/stupitidy laughs)

I was talking about Last Call with Carson Daily, and The late late show with Craig Kilbourne, but while we're on the subject, Kilbourne was perfect for The Daily Show, I loved him as the host, however, I also love Jon Stewart as the host, I really am torn as to who is actually better. But when you think about it, it really doesn't matter because, fact is, Kilbourne left and Stewart's the host now, nothing can be done about it. --~

I like Leno's "Headlines", but I really don't watch late night T.V. However, I find that Letterman is quite lame, so I never watch him. Guess my vote goes to Leno.

P.S. A lot of Conan's (his own) jokes are very corny, sorry if I offended anyone.

Haha, I tipped the scales!

I think Jon Stewart has took the Daily Show to new heights. While Kilbourne was funny, he wasn't constant, whereas Stewart is.

Conan is a little corny but he does it in a funny way. Leno is the best if you ask me, mainly because his J-walking. I hardly ever watch Letterman, I just don't think he is that funny.

That's a pretty valid point. I guess my point is just that I wasn't saying that I didn't like Craigers, I think he's great. --~

Leno's funny, witty, and interesting to watch. Letterman doesn't seem funny to me at all. Also, I'd like to punch him. Really really hard.

Conan O'Brien.....what do you mean I can't vote for him? Okay how about Frank Caliendo as Leno, then the actual Leno. Letterman has never been that funny IMO.
