July 2, 2004. That's the release date. I know, since I work at Universal Hollywood.

cool poster... i think Sarah Michelle Gellar should play Mary Jane... shes much more pretty than the person who played Mary Jane in Spider-Man... by any chance do you guys know who the next villian is? I hope its Venom... man ... he and Carnage are the best villians ever in the series...

Spiderman 2 is going to be a lot better than the first one, and the first one was really good, imo.

WHAAAT!? Kirsten Dunst is WAY hotter than Gellar... I was almost jealous for Toby Maguire during that upside-down kiss scene, but then I remembered, I can't be jealous of spider-man. He's just too cool.

Sarah Michelle Gellar should be in every movie made from this point until eternity. I love you Buffy.

ya man... i personally think shes the hottest lady out their... but hmmm... maybe she could be Felicia Hardy or the Black Cat.... he fighting skills would suit her more, and Sarah already has blonde hair

Here's that small Dock Ock wallpaper. But there is a poster that is just like it.

http://spiderman.sonypictures.com/downloads/wallpapers/thumbnails/ock_thumb.jpg

And the teaser trailer for SPIDER-MAN 2 will be attached to prints of RETURN OF THE KING on December 17th! The trailer will premiere on the web on December 15th! That Monday the official site for SPIDER-MAN 2 - www.sony.com/Spider-Man - will go live with the trailer in all formats.

The teaser begins with a dialogue between Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. They are in a coffee shop and she asks him if he loves her. He says "no", trembling. "Okay, if you don't love me, give me a kiss", she says and leans forward. "I would like to see something". You can notice he's very nervous. Just when they're about to kiss he ducks in slow motion and pushes her to the floor. We see a full size car smashing through the coffee shop window and nearly hitting them. In slow motion one of the car wheels almost peels Toby's face off. Then, right through the broken entrance comes Doc Ock, walking with his tentacles, never touching the ground, like a metal spider...

They got Otto lookin' crazy in this movie, but at least it's a cool look. Not like the Power Ranger Green Goblin (damn you for mesing up my fav villain :( )

What I hate is that now, in almost every Spidey comic, they are changing Ock's appearance just for the movie. shouldn't it be the other way around? The movies should look like the comics. Put the 1960's Ock in there, with the bowl haircut, thick glasses, pot belly, and white lab coat.

cool Doc Oct... in the animated series that use to come on fox Dr. Oct didn't wear a white lab coat... i can't wait for this movie to come out....this is going to probably a hit when it comes out in theaters like Spider-Man 1 was... some people I know were like they saw that movie three times in theaters just for the heck of it...wasn't that good...but thats people for ya...billions more bux for Sony here...lucky dogs...

Im sorry, but i dont see what is so good about Sarah Michelle Gellar. I mean her face is nothing special and neither is her body.

anyways, back on subject, that Doc oct in the pic looks pretty young, isnt he supposed to be an old dude? Speaking of which, ever notice how similar Dr. Octopus looks to Elton John? Freaky

!Sarah Michelle Gellar is the coolest...man...you must have never seen her!

Doc Oct looks like hes in his 40's in the Animated Series you can't see his face in the movie poster...

The guy who play Doc. Oc. is the same guy who plays the Doctor in the movie Identity. His name is Alfred Molina, and in my opinion, is probably the best choice for the role.
